Willow Creek Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana at an elevation of 3,600 feet. This small campground is best known for its quiet atmosphere and serenity. It is located at the confluence of the Vermillion River and Willow Creek and offers camping sites in close proximity to the creek. It is popular with hunters during the fall hunting season. This campgorund is also 2 miles from Vermilion Falls, an impressive site enjoyed by all. The campground offers 3 different campsites with restrooms and drinking water provided. Pets are welcome, but they must be kept on leashes. Please limit your stay to 14 days.
Directions: From Trout Creek, travel State Highway 200 northwest for approximately 1.5 miles, crossing the Noxon Reservoir and immediately turning east onto the Blueside Road. Follow this route for 5 miles to Vermilion Road 154, then turn and travel for approximately 14 miles to the site.This campground can also be accessed from US Highway 2, approximately 30 miles southeast of Libby, and 58 miles southwest of Kalispell. Turn south onto Pleasant Valley Road 516 and travel 7 miles to the junction with Road 7150. Turn right onto this road and follow for 6 miles to the campground.
