The trail is entirely within a subalpine timbered setting with some non-fishbearing streams and ponds along its route. Campsites are limited, but more can be found on the Robinson Mountain and Lake Geneva trails. Stock animals are allowed but feed must be transported to prevent damage to vegetation.
