From the streambottom trailhead in Parsnip Creek, Parsnip Creek Trail (65) follows a gentle grade for 1.5 miles and then climbs on a steep, switchbacking trail out of the valley bottom where the grade lessens to the junction with Road 4874. Directions: From Eureka, South 15 miles to Koocanusa Bridge. Cross to FDR 228 and travel south for 15 miles to Junction with Parsnip Creek Road (north side of Parsnip Creek Bridge). The trailhead is 0.3 mile up this road.
