The Bowman Lake Trail can be reached by following along the Glacier Route 7 north to junction with Bowman Lake Road, just north of Polebridge. Take the (narrow, but graded gravel road) Bowman Lake Road to the Bowman Campground. The trail departs at the northeast corner of campground, near the northwestern lakeshore. About 3 miles beyond the campground, the trail crosses Pocket Creek and Bowman Creek, and then continues for 1/2 mile to the base of Brown Pass.Length: 6.5 miles.Trail Begins: At Bowman Lake.Trail Ends: Browns Pass USGS Map1: Park Map
