The Adventure Cycling Association mission is to inspire individuals to use the bicycle for recreation, personal discovery, and adventure. The organization provides guidance in selecting equipment, and specializes in producing maps and resource guides to locations across the United States and Canada. Montana tours include portions of the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route, an off pavement route which parallels the Continental Divide from Canada to Mexico, and Cycle Montana, which will take cyclists on a 7-day loop through south-central Montana, beginning in Missoula and ending in Bozeman, Montana. Tour updates are always available on the organization's web site at http://www.adventurecycling.org
Directions: The Adventure Cycling Association headquarters is on the corner of Pine and Pattee Streets in Missoula, located in a renovated building that was originally a church. It is next to the Trailhead, a popular outdoors gear shop, and across the street from Missoula's art museum. For membership information call (800) 721-8719 or email: memberships@adventurecycling.org
