There is a large graveled parking area at the trailhead for Trail 2 adjacent to the Mono Creek Campground. The junction of Trail 2 and the David Creek Trail 56 is well marked three miles in on Trail 2. The trail is easy to follow all the way to Torrey Lake. The trail follows the David Creek drainage to Torrey Lake through stands of lodgepole pine with scattered openings providing nice vistas of surrounding peaks and ridge lines. Last 1.5 miles very steep. Motorized use is allowed, but is restricted two miles down the trail from the lake area due to steep grade on the trail and damaged caused by past motorized use.

Directions: Hike Jacobsen Creek Trail 2, 2.5 miles to the David Creek Trail Junction at the east end of Jacobsen Meadows. Trail 2 starts at the Mono Campground 21 miles south of Wise River on Pioneer Mountains Scenic Byway, 1 mile.
