Cost $15.00. The facility has a 6 person capacity. The access distance varies with snow conditions. Under normal winter conditions, one can drive within 2 miles. During summer, users can drive all the way to the cabin. No drinking water or electricity are available.
Directions: Douglas Creek Cabin is located 10 miles northwest of Philipsburg. From Deer Lodge, take Interstate 90 west to Exit 153 (Drummond). Take Montana (about 2 miles south of Hall) Highway 1 for 10 miles. Turn left on Forest Service Road 707. Travel southeast about 9 miles to the cabin.
