Loon Lake Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana at an elevation of 3,600 feet. It is a small campground approximately 20 miles south of the town of Yaak, and 18 miles northwest of Libby. There are 4 campsites with restrooms. Drinking water is not available at Loon Lake Campground, so remember to bring your own. Fishing and boating may be enjoyed at Loon Lake. A boat launch is provided. Pets are welcome, but they must be kept on leashes. Please limit your stay to 14 days. Directions: From Libby, travel northwest on Pipe Creek Road 68 for 20 miles to Loon Lake Road 471.
