Edged by four hundred feet of private Flathead Lake Beach reposes the romantically designed and fully restored Log Cottage. The cottage's encircling tall firs and yesteryear gardens leisurely blend into the lawned rows of cherry trees on this nine acre Gustin Orchard. Here, the panoramas to the west surrenders wide expanses of the lake fading into remote distances. In reverse, the view to the east as gently as it sweeps upward past the soft slopes of the orchard it is as abruptly obscured by the high mountain tops.
Within the cottage's lakeside exterior surroundings are its summer gazebo, wrap-around stone patio, barbecue and original fireplace. There is also lake access boat launch. In the style of its past, but offering today's comforts a four-poster canape' bed, kitchen and displaced clawfoot tub are some of the cottages interior amenities.
Directions: Gustin Orchards is located eleven miles south of Bigfork on Highway 35.
