Located one block from Historic Bell Street Bridge across the Yellowstone River and two blocks from downtown shopping and restaurants, The Hostetler House is a charming 1912 historic Prairie School home with three comfortable guest rooms done in casual country decor with twin, double and queen beds. Nearby are parks, swimming pool, tennis courts, antique shops, churches, golf and folf courses, museum, Dawson Community College, fishing, hunting and hiking amid the prehistoric landscape of Makoshika State Park. Guests may relax in the hot tub, sitting room full of books, enclosed sun porch. Wake up to the smell of freshly ground gourmet coffee, tea, and homemade bread. A full breakfast is served on Grandma's china in the dining room or on the sun porch. We provide those little extras such as robes, slippers, thongs, iron/board, blow dryer, laundry, airport pickup and secretarial services. Guests may watch color cable TV or movies from our video library in the sitting room, play board games at the dining room table or view the historic district of Glendive on our tandem mountain bike. Dea is an interior decorator who grew up on a nearby wheat farm and Craig is a mechanical engineer, pilot, and avid outdoorsman. They are Montana natives who invite you to 'Arrive as a guest and leave as a friend.' From the west, take Exit 210 and proceed 3.5 miles until you cross the Yellowstone River. Take the first right after the bridge to 113 North Douglas. Look for a white house on your right with a large three tiered brick planter across the front, a blue fence and lots of trees .From the east, take Exit 215, then left about 1.5 miles to first traffic light. Turn right onto Towne Street and go 3 blocks. Turn left immediately after Taco John's.
