The Fountain Paint Pots are a very intriguing phenomena. Just south of the turn-off to the freight road, (8 miles north of Old Faithful) you will come to a large parking area for the one-half mile walk for the Fountain Paint Pots. There you will find Silex Spring, Morning Geyser, Fountain Geyser, Jet Geyser, Spasm Geyser, Jelly Geyser, Clepsydra Geyser, the bubbling Fountain Paint Pots, and at a distance, the Kaleidoscope Geyser, erupting to heights of 30 to 50 feet can be viewed.
Directions: Fountain Paint Pots are located 8 miles north of Old Faithful. South of the turn-off to the freight road.
