Ringling, located between Livingston and White Sulphur Springs was named for the renown circus proprietor John Ringling. Not only did the Ringlings own ranch land totaling more than 100,000 acres, but they also were the originators of Yellowstone Park and White Sulphur Springs Railroad. Later this railroad was incorporated into the Milwaukee. The town is a shipping point for wheat and cattle.
Ringling is located in central Montana, north east of Bozeman on US Highway 89.
