Located at the end of Lost Creek Lane on the Featherly Bow and Arrow Ranch and tucked away in the foothills of the Mission Mountains - the quiet, secluded setting makes the LumiVista BnB a perfect getaway. A large house on 40 acres offers you many onsite activities - to include a pond to fish in and huckleberry picking. The natural surroundings - with the ever changing big sky, the majestic mountains, the fauna and flora - all make you realize that you are in God's country.
At the same time you are in the midst of a multitude of things to see and do, experience and learn about. Located on the Flathead Indian Reservation populated with Native Americans and 4th generation farmers and ranchers, you have a first hand opportunity to learn about Montana's past and present. Centrally located between Missoula and Kalispell you have a wide variety of events to go to - from rodeos and Pow-Wows to Shakespeare in the Parks. There are 17 golf courses and 6 ski resorts in the area. You are minutes away from the National Bison Range. The LumiVista is just 16 miles from Flathead Lake. Glacier National Park is a couple of hours away. Hiking, horseback riding, snowmobile, and cross-country trails abound. The whole area is dotted with small glacier lakes to hike to and fish in and/or camp by. This area is a hunting and fishing paradise.
Directions: The LumiVista Bed & Breakfast is located 5 miles east of Ronan in the foothills of the Mission Mountains. It borders the Mission Mountain Wilderness. It is on the Flathead Indian Reservation about half way between Missoula and Kalispell. From Interstate 90 take the Kalispell/Glacier Park exit onto Highway 93 North. Or, from the airport in Missoula turn left onto West Broadway and continue until it merges with Highway 93 North. Continue on Highway 93 North until you get to Ronan. In Ronan (at the intersection where you see the Dairy Queen) go east on Terrace Lake Road and head straight for the Mission Mountains. (Go 3+ miles.) Turn right onto Timberlane Road. (Go 7 tenths of a mile.) Turn left onto Lost Creek Lane. Go over the wooden bridge and continue past the sign that says, 'Private Road, No Outlet' to the end of the road (about one mile). Don't take any roads that branch out from the left or right of it.
