Glen was named for the glen situated between the Big Hole and Beaverhead rivers. The community began as a Union Pacific station called the Willis Station from 1878-79. The name was later changed to Reichele. The post office was established in 1950 with Louise Boucher as postmaster.Glen is located in southwestern Montana, south of Butte on I-15.
