Silver Star Montana	Located in: Southwest Montana

Silver Star is one of the oldest communities in Montana. It developed as a mining camp when gold was discovered nearby. Later, it served as a supply center for silver miners. The post office was established in 1869. Silver Star is also a state fishing access area on the Jefferson River in southwest Montana.

Silver Star is located in south western area of Montana, southeast of Butte on MT Highway 41.
