Cascade is a much older town than Great Falls and was named after the cascades or falls in the Missouri River. The post office established in 1887.This small community offers many public fishing access places along the Missouri River. It is also a popular place to start floating trips down the river. Camping, hunting and hiking are nearby as well.
Cascade is located in northwestern Montana, southwest of Great Falls on I-15.
