Floweree was a station on the Great Northern Railroad line. The town was named for Daniel Floweree, a Texan who came to the area with a herd of 1,500 cattle in 1873. The first post office was established in 1910 with Arthur Martin as postmaster. It became a rural station out of Great Falls in 1974.
Floweree is located in north-central Montana, northeast of Great Falls on U.S. Highway 87.
