Teigen Montana

Teigen has its origins as a station for the Milwaukee Railroad . The town was named in honor of one of the area's prominent landowners and homesteaders; a sheep rancher by the name of Mons Teigen. His heirs still ranch in the area.

Teigen is located in central area of Montana, east of Lewistown at the junction of US Highway 87 and MT Highway 19.
